Black & Decker CJ630 32-Ounce Electric Citrus Juicer (Kitchen) Was raving to my wife about the performance of this little juicer when, 6-limes from the end of the second bag from Costco, there was a flash of light, a puff of smoke, and the juicer died. Not sure if ‘moderate to firm pressure’ on the fruit was the culprit, but we’re taking it back to Target today… still pondering whether to give another one the opportunity to succeed.

Aroma ACJ-181 1-Liter Citrus Juice r (Kitchen) The motor for the juicer broke within seconds of being turned on for the first time. The juicer was not handled by me in any way that was rough that would cause the motor to break within seconds of the juicers first use. I started pushing an orange onto the juicer and there was a clicking or snapping sound in the motor. The motor did not turn on after that. I would not buy this product again. I would have given the juicer zero stars, but giving an item zero stars is not an option.

Cuisinart CCJ-500 Pulp Control Citrus Juice r (Kitchen) This juicer does the job at an affordable price. Machine is sturdy and stable. For us pulp lovers, it’s perfect. Pro bably not the right juicer for those who don’t want any pulp in their juice, as some pulp still comes through even at the max-juice setting. I wish the motor were quieter, that’s why I didn’t give this all five stars. I give it a 4.75%

Norpro Orange Juice r (Kitchen) To be fair, I will not compare it to any electric juicer but rather I will compare it to similar manual juicers. This juicer appears to be firm and strong. Works well on small to medium size lemons and oranges. It can not handle big ones. A strong grip will take most of the juice out. I then tip it to one side to let the trapped juice flow from the side.

Cuisinart CCJ-100 Citrus Pro Juice r (Kitchen) I echo everything that was said negative and dispute any positive statement. How could Cuisinart screw up that much? After one orange the cup is clogged with the pulp which does not release even at the ‘lots of Pulp setting’. Very cheap plastic construction. Not worth trying.

Breville 800CPXL Die-Cast Stainless -Steel Motorized Citrus Press (Kitchen) Very easy and smooth to use, quiet, produces excellent juice. The best juicer for use I’ve tried.Cleaning is not that difficult, but the metal pulp filter as well as the metal base that the juice goes into seem flimsy to hold, not machined that well, with edges that are imperfectly sanded or smoothed. Most problematic, the lightweight metal of the top part makes a really annoying, grating sound when it rubs against the base. It sounds like fingernails on a chalkboard. I’m not metallurgist, but to me the machining and choice of metals of some of the parts in the base just feels a bit careless or cheap – and the noise is annoying. This only affects cleaning, however – in use, it’s great. But, when cleaning, unit lacks that sense of tactile polish one gets from using, say, an Apple product.By the way, if someone knows of a way to stop that ‘fingernails on chalkboard’ noise when the metal parts clink together when being cleaned, let me know. It’s the one thing I don’t like about the unit.
Joie Lemon Juicer (Kitchen) I had purchased this juicer at a health food store first several years ago. They no longer carry it and I was greatly surprised to find it on Amazon. I actually purchased 3 so I could share it with others. Small but mighty!

Tribest Citristar Electric Citrus Juicer (Kitchen) We are so thrilled with this juicer! We searched for a while, wanting one that was powerful, fast, and most importantly, easy to clean after a quick juice. This one surpasses our expectations. There are just 3 parts to rinse off when you are done. To juice, you just take half of the citrus fruit and hold it over the swirly mechanism while pushing down. In seconds, the entire half fruit is cleared out, juiced into the catch tray, and/or coming into your glass (if you choose to keep the spout open). It is fantastic, and even looks sleek and nice on our counter. HIGHLY recommend!

KitchenAid JE Citrus Juicer Stand Mixer Attachment (Kitchen) I wanted to get a citrus juicer that would not add to the plethora of electric kitchen gadgets. I love multifunctional design like the Kitchen Aid mixer which allows you to use attachments such as this juicer to maximize your use. Overall it works great. There was some (loud) squeaking during the first few minutes but that stopped after I actually started juicing (I think pressing the fruit against the juicer helped it find its proper place). I found the strainer to be ok but ended up getting saturated quick enough so I am going to opt for the large strainer across the bowl and see how that goes. There is a small learning curve in how to manipulate the fruit you are holding so it doesn’t come streaming down your arm, but once you get it is easy. All my lessons I learned on the first go. Simple install, simple removal and simple clean up. Best part is that there is not another item needing to be plugged in. I wish more thought had gone into the design of the strainer but overall that is a minor flaw compared to what I get out of this device. I juice quite regularly and use my Breville juicer for other fruits and veggies but this device is great to extract simple citrus juices. Kitchen Aid: I would love to see this made out of glass!!
